Auditions

On the Verge Theatre is holding auditions for non-Equity actors for 2 upcoming productions:

 

TICK, TICK...BOOM! 
by Jonathan Larson
A small musical about the writing of RENT.
 
SEEKING 1 male and 1 female, ages 20 -35. 
Actors must sing and dance well, be experienced and accomplished. 
Prepare a 1 minute comedic monologue and an upbeat song from the musical theatre or pop genres.

Auditions are 2-3:30pm | OCT 29
Production runs February 15 – March 3, 2024. 
Rehearsal begins in mid January.

A LIFE IN THE THEATRE
by David Mamet
A 2 -person comedy/drama about an aging actor and a young actor in the same repertory theatre company. 
 
SEEKING 1 male – age 20 -30. Actor must be versatile, experienced, and accomplished. Prepare a 1 minute comedic monologue and a 1 minute dramatic monologue. Read from the script.

Auditions are 3:30 - 5:00pm | OCT 29
Production runs July 18 – August 8, 2024
Rehearsals begin in early June.
